Biax Tone Ringer System

Biax designed and developed this system to provide loud ringing for areas where the telephone calls cannot be heard well enough. It produces the familiar warble tone to alert an incoming call. With the use of weatherproof external horns and internal speakers it can be heard anywhere. It includes individually adjustable volume control for each internal speaker and external horn. Biax provides cut-off switches to disable individual or a group of horns and speaker specially for after business hours or when an attendant is available at the front desk console to answer incoming calls.

In addition, when connected to a motion detector placed at the front door, it produces a twin single-tone to alert the presence of a guest at the front door. The system also provides 12VDC to power the motion detector. This tone can be disabled with a cut-off switch.

It includes the ability to connect to a night window or front desk Service Button. When pressed it produces one single-tone to alert the presence of a guest at the front desk of night window. It is a low maintenance system since it does not use any batteries and it is easily installed by anyone with minimum knowledge of electricity. It can be connected to any Normally Open dry contact or directly to telephone company lines providing 90 VAC ring voltage. It can be connected to any telephone system or used in any homephone line without a phone system. Biax will provide installation diagram for Mitel PABX.
